Sometimes I see the song-titled video to which this blog title relates, on YouTube - I have not seen it for a while now - but on the Sunday gone/previous I did indeed do so...
I actually find it to be a somewhat whiny, personally unappealing song, truth be known...
However, it got me thinking...
For such within-song pleas can most readily be seen to embrace such concepts as 'winning' and 'losing', as well as 'succeeding' and 'failing'...
Concepts that I personally am rather reticent to embrace...
For, when you think about it, such rather worldly concepts can paint a picture of a rather forcefully needy person, who simply wishes you to continue providing certain 'fruits', for them in particular - somewhat like a persistent goading, perhaps - from one who chooses to adopt a perhaps predominantly service-to-self attitude to life...
...A greed, of perhaps personal laziness, if you will - or indeed a quest for 'instant' self-gratification - a perhaps prevalent/conditioned/mutually-supporting/unHealthy mind-set that can be seen to be somewhat endemic within the world (or part thereof) in which we find ourselves living...
Unfortunately for such people, I simply prefer not to think in such a way - and tis not natural for me to do so anyway - with regard to 'Spiritual matters', especially...
For, in my particular case, life has seemingly become one of simply/predominantly e/Experiencing - with some e/Experiences simply being possibly more personally notable than others - and some of those e/Experiences I choose to share, and others I simply choose not to share...
So there are perceived gaps in sharing (which may, or not, be filled (partially or otherwise) at a later date, of course) - tis as simple as that - a sort of 'free from competing' approach to life, if you will...
And this is exactly how it should be, from my particular perspective - for once you allow yourself to be perhaps 'pressured' into 'performing' and 'competing', then in effect you have sort of lost the Spiritual plot, basically - and offering such personal 'fruits' freely, helps to keep one free from falling into such, personally adjudged 'traps'...
And that is all I wanted to say really - within this rather short, but personally adjudged, nevertheless important, and perhaps needed, blog - simple further food for thought, if you will :-) :-) :-) ...
