Some Tennis Songs...

The Wimbledon men's singles final was being played yesterday - an event i followed via the Daily Telegraph Online commentary updates - as well as via the Sky Sports online score updates facility...

The day before i had listened to Mark Knopfler's latest, rather superb album offering, which is titled One Deep River - so, thought i, why not listen to such an album repeatedly whilst following the progression of such a tennis final - and so i did, 2.42 times actually, as that is how long said tennis final lasted...

And then, this morning, i started watching the men's 2025 French tennis finals that i had put aside / ear-marked the evening before - and during the early stages of such a contest the idea of doing this particular MUSICal offering came about - some of the songs/tracks could, in some form/way or other, be seen to make certain allusions/references to tennis, after all :-) :-) :-) ...
